Believe or not, I did used a mini tripod (only 10 cm tall, not that usual big one), small and portable. it is actually very useful, not just for filming, but photo taking too. ( that's how I took those "artistic" pics of myself on the trip). Next time, you should bring one with you, I strongly suggest!
